Purchased in the spring of 2004 by John and Mary Lauber, the Pearson-Kelley house is an example of 1920’s-30’s architecture in Brownville.  A talented craftsman, Axel Pearson designed and built all of the interior wooden doors to his unique taste and specifications.  The house features hardwood floors, a full kitchen, two bedrooms, an enclosed sun porch, and French doors.  There is also a spacious outdoor area for picnicking.  Centrally located, on Main Street, Brownville attractions are within walking distance.  The Pearson-Kelley house is centrally heated and air-conditioned.

The house is decorated with antiques and art objects from “MARY’S EMPORIUM & THE YELLOW CHAIR,” (http://www.marysemporium.com) as well as pieces from the Laubers’ private collection.
