Mary's Emporium

I HAVE MOVED from MAIN STREET to ATLANTIC STREET. I am one block north and ½ block west from the old location. I settled into a little green house which I think is a huge improvement over my old “digs.” …more room, quieter, unique to say the least. You know that the trend now is to put small boutiques, such as mine, into houses. The traditional business building setting just isn’t as quaint and charming as a house.

I have comfortable chairs to rest in, (after you have climbed the hill) and I will fix you a cup of coffee, or offer you a cool drink. I have TONS of jewelry, new, old, and handmade. I can also do some jewelry repairs as well.

Jewelry making classes are now being offered, just call and set up a time. We have space for that now.

In the move I got rid of my large antiques and a lot of glassware and dishes. I still have my hats and like I said before, TONS of jewelry.

Come on up to the top of the hill and check out the new place. The address is211 Atlantic Street ( like that means anything in Brownville). My hours are 11-4 daily, Closed Monday. Call me if you want to shop before or after hours, as I live right next door (402-825-6637).

Remember if you are coming from a distance, we have our charming Pearson-Kelley Guesthouse and the Blacksmith House. We’d love to have you spend the night in Brownville. It is quiet here and we think our town is very quaint. Brownville is waiting for you, so come and visit us. Mary’s Emporium and The Yellow Chair are open daily from 11am to 4 pm. 1 pm to 4 pm on Sunday, and closed Mondays. Brownville has more to offer and I will try to keep you informed about that in my next “message.”
