Overnight Lodging at The Pearson-Kelley House:“A European Style Guesthouse”
Step back into the 1930’s…Purchased in the spring of 2004 by John and Mary Lauber, the Pearson-Kelley house is an example of 1930’s architecture in Brownville. A talented craftsman from Denmark, Axel Pearson designed and built all of the interior wooden doors to his unique taste and specifications. The house features hardwood floors, a full kitchen, two bedrooms, and an enclosed sun porch with day bed. There is also a spacious outdoor area for picnicking. Centrally located, on Main Street, Brownville attractions are within walking distance. The Pearson-Kelley house features central heating and air and cable television. The house is decorated with antiques and art objects from “MARY’S EMPORIUM,” as well as pieces from the Laubers’ private collection.
